What do I need to know before shopping at King’s Crew?

Kings Crew is a full-service licensed, legal dispensary offering a wide selection of products for both medical and recreational cannabis consumers. Our staff is here to offer a personalized experience tailored to your needs. At King’s Crew, we aim to make you feel like royalty! 

First-time customers receive 10% OFF their first purchase, and we have daily specials for everyone, every day of the week.

**Please note: City guidelines require that all transactions be completed before 10pm. To accommodate this, LAST CALL for purchases made in-store is at a strict 9:50pm daily. At this time, we will not accept any more customers in the store, or purchases to be made. Please plan your visit accordingly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Do I need a California ID to shop at your store?

You do not need a California ID to shop with us, only a valid government-issued form of identification with your birth date. We do not accept identification that is expired.

What is the age-minimum to shop at your store?

21+ to shop recreationally; 18+ with the proper physician’s recommendation or Medical Marijuana Identification. 

I’m new to cannabis and not sure what to purchase, can you help?

We have a team of highly-trained budtenders, called Crew Members, who can give you their best recommendations for all your needs and answer any questions you may have.

Do you have my favorite product in-stock?

How do I order curbside pickup?

You can call ahead and order at (562) 513-5441, or you can order online for curbside or in-store pickup. Note: We are only able to take pickup orders for the same day.

Do you take debit or credit cards?

For in-store or curbside pickup, we accept cash or debit cards. We do not currently take credit cards, and there is a $3.50 processing fee for all debit transactions via Cashless ATM. There is also an ATM onsite for your convenience.

How much are taxes?

Medicinal and Adult Tax Rates :

Is there a daily purchase-limit for cannabis products?

Adult Use:

  • No more then 28 grams (one ounce) of non-concentrated cannabis per day.
  • No more than 8 grams of concentrated cannabis per day.

Medicinal Use:

  • No more than 8 ounces of cannabis per day.
  • No more than 8 ounces of concentrates per day.

Do I need a medical marijuana card (MMC) to buy cannabis?

You do not need a MMC to buy cannabis. Here in California, cannabis is legal for recreational purposes. In other words, anyone over the age of 21 can visit our dispensary in Long Beach and shop their favorite cannabis products. All you need is a valid, government-issued ID. This can be a driver’s license or a passport. Even if you’re from another state or another country, you can shop our dispensary menu with a valid ID that proves you’re over the age of 21. 

What’s the difference between a medical marijuana cardholder and a recreational consumer?

In short, a medical marijuana cardholder pays slightly lower taxes and their daily purchase-limit is greater. 

In order to shop medically in the state of California you will need a doctor’s recommendation in the form of either a MMJ Medical Recommendation or a state issued Medical Marijuana Identification Card (MMIC). The state issued MMIC exempts a patient from the cannabis sales and use tax, while a doctor’s recommendation slightly lowers the city tax. A medical recommendation also enables a patient to purchase and possess greater amounts of Cannabis products.

Can I travel with cannabis?

Due to the federal regulations for cannabis, we cannot recommend anyone to travel with cannabis, regardless of state-to-state legalization. Please refer to for any and all details about traveling with cannabis. 

Royalty Rewards – Dispensary Loyalty Program:

What are ‘Royalty Rewards’ points?

Royalty Rewards is a reward point system at King’s Crew that gives all customers ‘1 Reward Point per $1 spent’ (pre-tax) in the dispensary. There is no sign-up necessary, points are accrued automatically with each purchase, and can be redeemed in-store for discounts off future purchases. 

How do I earn points?

You can earn points by making purchases at King’s Crew via in-store or online for curbside pickup or delivery. After your purchase, your points will be added to your account within 24 hours, to use on your next visit. 

How do I redeem points at the dispensary?

Royalty Rewards points can be redeemed in-store at the end of your shopping experience. Your budtender can tell you how many rewards points you have available and what they can be redeemed for. Rewards are subject to change each month. You may choose to save your points for a future visit. Royalty Rewards points are non-transferrable and hold no cash value. Additional terms and conditions may apply.  

Do my rewards points expire?

Royalty Rewards points currently do not expire. If you have any questions on the Royalty Rewards program, please ask a Crew Member or send an email to

Does my dispensary delivery order qualify for Royalty Rewards points?

Royalty Rewards points are earned on all orders placed for in-store, or online for curbside pickup and delivery. However, points currently cannot be redeemed online. 

How can I check my Royalty Rewards balance?

An employee at King’s Crew can look up your point balance, in-person or over the phone.

How can I exchange a defective product?

If a product has a manufacturing defect of some kind, we will gladly exchange it! *Note: State law does not allow returns of any kind, and requires all exchanges to be the same type of product. 

What is your return policy on non-cannabis merch (i.e. apparel, glassware, accessories, etc.)?

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, we offer a 100% Exchange Guarantee. *Note: State law requires all exchanges to be the same type of product.
